Mrs. Day – Science

Middle School Science

Welcome to  science!

I look forward to the new school year and new opportunities to learn more about science! This is my fourth year teaching science to students in third through eighth grade at Holy Family.  I hope to encourage in my students  a love and excitement for learning about the wonders of God’s creation while we learn about physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, and the environment.

This page is designed to keep you updated what we are doing in the science classroom. Homework assignments, vocabulary lists, CELL objectives, and links to the LabLearner resources can be found here.

The LabLearner curriculum is designed so that each academic year is divided into a series of Core Experience Learning Labs (CELLs). Each CELL is divided into three to four Investigations. Each Investigation, in turn, consists of four to five days of instruction – Concepts, Pre-Lab, Lab and Post-Lab.

If you have any comments, questions, or concerns, please feel free to contact me at science@holyfamilydalecity.org
