I am from La Paz, Bolivia.  I came to this country in 1986.  My education is in biotechnology.  I worked for 5 years as a lab technician for AML Laboratories.  After I moved to the Woodbridge area, I became very involved in the Hispanic community.  The group I was involved with made it possible for the Spanish community to celebrate Mass here at Holy Family.  Often on Sundays, I provided the transportation for the Priest.  I would drive to Alexandria to pick him up and then take him home after our Mass.  I am very proud to have been a part of this ministry and it is beautiful to see how it has grown over the years.  My husband and I have three children, all of whom attended Holy Family School.  I feel very blessed to have been able to afford a Catholic education for our children.  We have made many sacrifices and we have no regrets because this education was very important to us.  When our youngest son started attending the preschool, I became a Teacher’s Assistant.  I have been working at Holy Family for 11 years.    I have been so happy, I love working with the children.  I also enjoy being close to my own children.  Our oldest child, Kelly, attends John Paul the Great High School, our second child, Andy, attends Hylton High School and our youngest child, Casey, is in the 7th grade here at Holy Family.
