Fall 2021

Dear Holy Family Teachers, Students, and Families:

Let me start by welcoming you to the start of the 2021-2022 school year as well as provide a warm welcome to all the new families joining Holy Family this year.  I am honored to serve for a second year as your PTO President.  This year, all three of our girls are officially Falcons!  Madison is entering 1st Grade; Abbey is entering Kindergarten and Brynlee is starting her first year of Pre-School.

I have enjoyed volunteering almost my entire life.  Between tutoring, playing the piano and organ at Mass, teaching CCD, serving as a Board of Director for various organizations and chairing fundraisers to provide for those less fortunate, I have learned the importance of service.  My husband and I are instilling in our daughters that volunteering your time and talents is imperative to make the world a better place.

I recently asked my fellow PTO Board members for three words that described why they are on the Board.  I always ask this question when I am about to lead a Team, so I understand the vision everyone is looking for and the direction everyone wants the organization to take. I expected to have 12 different words, but I only had six.  Why?  Because we all have, generally, the same vison for the importance of giving back to the wonderful school that provides so much more than an education to our children.  The six words that describe our vision for this year are Service, Love, Friendship, Community, Fellowship and Involvement.

After being through what was an extremely difficult time for everyone this past year, we are looking for you to join us to provide service to our school, love and support for each other, be a friend to each other, bring about a sense of community, have fun and fellowship working together while being involved in collaborating to give the Teachers and Students a year of cherished memories.

As we work towards our vision and provide for an enjoyable and exciting year for families, teachers and students, every extra set of hands count.  It takes all of us working together to plan events and bring ideas to the table to enhance what the PTO is all about.

Thank you for all that you already do for Holy Family Catholic School.  Please know that I am praying for a healthy and blessed year for everyone in our school community.

Kathleen Miller
Your Holy Family PTO President
